Parr’s Bank Hotel is a grand, high-ceilinged reception space, the kind of room that looks the part the moment it is decorated and full. It suits a wedding where the ceremony happens somewhere else and the celebration moves here afterwards.

A real wedding at Parr’s Bank Hotel
Owen and Jessica said their vows at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in a ceremony full of meaning, then travelled to Warrington’s Walled Gardens for portraits before continuing at Parr’s Bank Hotel, where a packed room celebrated in a grand, beautifully decorated space. They booked half day coverage and received 853 images.

What to know about photographing here
A three-location day, ceremony then portraits then reception, is the most common shape here and it lives or dies on travel time. Build in more than you think you need between each stop. The portraits at Warrington’s Walled Gardens were some of the strongest images from Owen and Jessica’s day, and they only happened because there was room in the schedule for them.
The reception room is large and ornate, which means the detail shots are worth doing before the guests arrive and reorganise it. Fifteen minutes in an empty room is usually enough.

Coverage and cost
Ceremony is £350 and covers up to three hours, from guest arrivals through to the group photos. Half Day Coverage is £649 and runs up to five hours, from guest arrivals through to the speeches. Full Day is £999 and covers up to ten hours, from getting ready to the first dance. Every package includes a pre-wedding consultation, a private online gallery, full-resolution downloads with full sharing and printing rights, and sneak peeks within 48 hours. Full Day also includes priority editing, with your gallery inside three weeks, and free travel.
